Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026. This covers the PassPic iPhone app and the website photo.proximadigital.app, both published by Proxima Digital LLC.

PassPic iPhone app

The app makes your photo entirely on your iPhone, using the on-device AI built into your iPhone. Your photos are never uploaded, stored by us or shared. The app has no account, no ads and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Version 1.0 collects no data at all.

Version 1.1 and later can send one anonymous count to our server after you make a photo: a "+1", the photo format and the number of photos. It includes no photo, name, email, device identifier or advertising identifier. Our server notes the country of the connection (a two-letter code) and does not store your IP address in the tally. Like any web request, it passes through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the request and protect the service (see Cloudflare's privacy policy below). We use the totals only to see how many people use the app and where. The app shows the overall total in its About screen. You can turn this off at any time in About, and the app works the same either way. The count is not linked to you and is not used for tracking.

The app asks for camera access to take a photo, and for permission to add the finished photos to your Photos library. Both stay on your device.

The app has an optional tip. Tips are bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment and we do not receive your name, payment details or any other personal information. A tip unlocks nothing.

Website

When you use the website, the photos you upload are sent to our server, used only to make your passport photo, and automatically deleted after 1 hour. We do not look at them, sell them, share them or use them for any other purpose.

We keep a simple counter of how many times the tool has been used, in total, per photo format and per country. The country is taken from the request by our hosting provider and we keep only the country code in the tally, never your IP address. The counter holds numbers only and contains no photos or personal information. The site has no accounts, no cookies and no advertising or tracking scripts.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical request data such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Optional coffee tips

The website has an optional "Buy me a coffee" link. It opens a payment page hosted by Stripe, where you enter your payment details. We never see or store your card details, and a tip unlocks nothing. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app keeps photos on the device, parents can use it to make a child's photo without sharing it with us.
